Walk east to central Varrock (near the marker area), and talk to either Shilop or Wilough. After you finish talking to her, go behind the house, and obtain 1 doogle leaf. Talk to Gertrude, and offer her help to find her lost cat. Head to Gurtrude's house, which is located near the west entrance to Varrock (west of the bank). Use a fishing rod and bait to fish for it in either Catherby shore, Karamja dock, or Draynor Village. You need level 5 fishing in order to catch one. To obtain a sardine, the fastest way is by fishing it, since nobody really sells them. Obtain a bucket from the closest general store near you, and go to the cows which are located a bit north east of Lumbridge. Start point: Gertrude's House, just across Juliet's house west of Varrock. Reward: 1 Quest Point, a kitten(which interacts with you), cooking Experience, 1 Chocolate Cake, 1 Stew Items needed: bucket of milk, 1 raw sardine, 100 gp Italics denote that the quest was demoted to a miniquest.Required Quests/Skills: Level 5 fishing (optional) Gertrude's name may be a reference to the seventh-century abbess, Saint Gertrude of Nivelles, who was also referred to as the patron saint of cats.After starting Garden of Tranquility, you can use your Ring of Charos to charm Gertrude into letting you choose your kitten's colour.

Use the doogle leaves on the raw sardine to make a doogle sardine, which Fluffs will happily eat. Try and pick her up again, but she still refuses to move and is now hungry. When you try to pick her up, she refuses to move, and also seems thirsty use the bucket of milk on her. Climb up the ladder in the north-eastern building and you will find Fluffs. Once at the lumber yard, look for a broken fence on the west side that you can squeeze under (red line on minimap). Head to the Lumber Yard, the secret hideout, which is north-east of Varrock, north of the Earth altar, and directly east of the Jolly Boar Inn. Give them 100 coins in exchange for the location.

They will tell you that they have a secret hideout where they took Fluffs with them, but won't reveal its location until they get something in return. Travel to Varrock square and speak with her children.
